     Fees vary based on the entertainer. In the informational email that you will receive from the entertainer, there will be a proposal with exact cost of the show outlined for you.
By indicating your ballpark budget in our information request form, we can recommend an entertainer for you whose fees fall within your budget.

      Please keep in mind that the comedians we recommend for California events are among the top of their field.  The fees they charge are appropriate for the quality of professional entertainment that they provide, and for their years of experience.  For us to be able to provide you with quality entertainment, we recommend a MINIMUM budget of $2000 for entertainment.

How long will the show run?

     The typical length for an after-dinner corporate comedy show is 45-50 minutes. The show length can be shortened or lengthened based on your needs.  If your audience has been sitting through a meal and other presentations, however, we have found that it is best not to go much beyond 50 minutes as the audience will get restless.  (Even when comedy mega stars Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld do a headline comedy show for a corporate event, or a theatre, there performances are under an hour.). If you do choose to do a show longer than an hour, we recommend two different acts, or a pre-packaged comedy "duo" such as COMEDY TWO NITE.


Will we have to pay travel expenses?

     Travel costs depend on where the entertainer is coming from.  If there are travel costs involved, the entertainer this will be clearly indicated in the proposal. Will our company have to provide a hotel room for the performer?

     In most cases, yes, you will be required to provide lodging for the entertainer for the night of the show.  This will be outlined in the entertainment proposal you will receive.


Does CaliforniaComedian.com charge a finders fee or agency commission?
